The SHFAYIM Endurance Race was held at the SHFAYIM track on Friday, January 19, 2007. The endurance race is 3 hours long and requires each driver to race as a team player. Each team contains 3 drivers with each driver racing for 15 minutes, then being replaced by a teammate and so on. All teams participating in this unique race demonstrated a high level of expertise, and all had great!!!
All drivers enjoyed this long race and almost all teams completed the race with great smiles spread across their facesâ¦

Top Gun team drivers (Daniel Kugler, Moshe Yazdi, and the fast Itzik Avidor) succeeded to finish in third place! The guys celebrated their first podium, well done!
Team GS drivers (Avi Yadgar, Alex Parpinial & Yaniv Levy who won the Hotwheels Endurance race last year) drove very fast during the whole race. These guys worked perfectly during the race while Yaniv Levy fired his GS right at the start succeeding to secure the first place at the first minutes of the race. During the 3 hour race they had a problem in one of their cars, causing them to slow down for a while, eventually finishing in the prestigious second place!

Team XRAY drivers (Yossi Shtern, Dotan Halevy & Oren Levy) drove very fast during this race, securing the first position almost from the start. The combination of cars and drivers proved to be the fastest team of the race. Dotan's car battery exhausted somewhere after 1.5 hour. Dotan succeeded to drive Oren's car in his unique talented way. Yossi Shtern was driving flawlessly and continued to gain laps over other team drivers. Team XRAY won this race using XRAY XB8TQ cars!
Turbo Team (TT) had problems during the race. Meir Azulay started the race with good driving but had engine problems causing him to drop down several positions. Yaron Sasson had clutch problems causing his car to stall as well. All team members had to use Gil Verthimerâ™s XB8TQ car from that moment until the end of the race. Gil Verthimer showed his great team play and fast driving style!

HotWheels Team members (Yoram Elkoby, Liran Strogano & Amit Gryber) provided good racing style. Yoram got better and better during the last season and came to this race prepared to beat! Liran, who become an A finalist recently, showed his driving skills right from the start. Amit Gryber showed his calm & quality driving style.
Nitro Power team members (Dan & Paul Price and Ronen Akalay) were very fast during the race. Dan showed his driving talent (after finishing first at last weekâ™s National second race). The team had various issues which caused the team to drop positions. Their 4th place finish does not reflect their driving skills.
